Dr. Abou Mehrem is a Neonatologist and Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Calgary. He co-chairs the Calgary Zone Neonatal Quality Improvement Committee, the FMC EPIQ Team, and the Calgary Neonatal Respiratory Care Committee. As an EPIQ Master Facilitator, he organized and led several EPIQ workshops nationally and internationally. His research interests include neonatal stabilization, neonatal respiratory management and outcomes, electronic medical records, and implementation science. He holds various research grants from local and national institutions.
